TRIBUTE FROM UNCLE – NORTE AMARTEFIO
Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in faith. Today, we gather in this sacred space with heavy hearts to pay tribute to a soul so dear to us, my beloved niece, Oduraa. Tribute by Rev. Prof. Dan Inkoom, on behalf of International Central Gospel Church ICGC), Eagles Temple, Kumasi
“Happy Fathers’ Day, Prof. Inkoom, God bless you abundantly” and a red heart emoji (still beating on our WhatsApp page) was the last message I received from you on Sunday 18th June 2023 at 6:47 pm, and which, sadly, was going to be the last. It has been truly painful to live with the news of your passing! Eagles Temple and New Breed KNUST have the tradition of holding joint Easter Sunday services for a number of years now, where there is always a mass choir, which introduced you to us. You were either conducting or ministering during these occasions, and you always stood out. I got to know you better when you were selected to participate in the first Cohort of the Central Leadership Programme which you successfully completed to become a Beacon of Excellence (BoE). When you were appointed a Teaching Assistant at the Kwame Nkrumah University of…
