Still unbelievable
Oduraa so I am sitting here waiting for your memorial service to start and it brings tears to my eyes. OD this is not how I ever imagined coming to church for when it comes to you. You were such a pleasant and hardworking girl. I really admired your business acumen and how you wanted to make everyone better by linking them to opportunities. I can still hear your voice saying “Aunt Sophia, I work for this book reading club that I think you can register the boys at”, I also remember “Aunt Sophia, I have come home ooooo, what would you like to order” ?. O Oduraa, this is so so sad. I admire how you lived OD. We are broken. OD rest in peace in heaven because I have no doubt that is where you are. You will forever be in my heart. OD, you live on.

To a Beautiful Angel – Oduraa Quartey

I definitely got that from you Oduraa. I miss you oo, I remember your beautiful voice … I never knew you could sing so well until the International Gospel Concert at Clemson, (wawwwuuuuuuu) when you led the worship song ‘How Great is Our God’, the atmosphere was lit and the presence of God saturated the auditorium, everyone (black, white, men, women, boys, girls) lifted up their hands in worship…we forgot our differences..it was a wonderful experience in God’s presence and I can’t forget those memories…God is great!!!
